NEW DELHI: Aizawl outfit Chanmari FC will be participating in their first-ever national tournament in this edition of the U-19 I-League. The little-known team is already a household name in Aizawl, following their Mizoram Premier League win in May last year.
Chanmari defeated local side Luangmual FC in the second leg of the MPL final to lift the trophy last year. They will be opening their campaign in the U-19 I-League from the Rest of India Group B Zone as they take on Shillong Lajong U19 on February 4 at the Lammual Stadium in Aizawl.
The Training regimes involved for the U-19 squad – The Training Schedules are held in the morning from 7:00 am and 3:00 pm in the evening. The players are undergoing all kinds of training for the tournament.
