New Delhi, May 17, 2019: The four teams that will contest the semifinals of the Hero Sub Junior League 2018-19 have been decided as the final round draws to a close, with the matches set to take place on Monday (May 20, 2019) in Navelim, Goa.

The first semifinal will feature Reliance Foundation Young Champs against Bangalore Youth Football League, with both teams having topped their respective groups in the final round. RFYC secured nine points out of nine in Group A, recording wins against Chennaiyin FC (4-1), Southern Samity (1-0) and FF Academy (3-0).

BYFL are assured of qualifying after two rounds of fixtures, recording wins against Mumbai City FC (4-1) and Baroda Football Academy (3-2). Mumbai City FC are in second place on the table with three points, however, they cannot go past BYFL after the final round of fixtures due to an inferior head-to-head record.

In the second semifinal, Bengaluru FC will face Sudeva FC as both sides have made sure of their places in the last four. Both sides have two wins in two matches in Group B and D respectively and are poised to finish in the first place even if they end their last matches of the round with a loss.

The first and second semifinals will take place at 8 am and 4 pm respectively.
