MUMBAI: Mumbai FC U-15 team, under the guidance of Coach Jeddey Almeida, have started their season in a great fashion. The team, who travelled to Pune to play DSK Shivajans, went on to win the game. A goal in the dying minutes of the game secured all three points for Mumbai U-15s. With three wins in three games now the boys look ready to take the league by storm. Kamran Anssari in particular looks like a player to be watched out for, after scoring in all three of the games.
Mumbai who already have a couple of youngsters playing and training at the AIFF academy in Goa, hope to produce more talents and take pride in what they do best – “Youth Development”.
With players like Kamran Anssari, Clivert Miller, Kartik Bele and others training under the wings of Coach Mr. Jeddy Almeida and Head of youth development – Mr. Kundan Chandra the future sure looks bright. With the upcoming 2017 FIFA under-17 World Cup in sights, we hope the coaches and the players are rewarded for their efforts.
