I-LEAGUE Media Team

NEW DELHI: Hindustan FC U-19 team will play their first match in the Rest of India Group A at the Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi on February 1, 2015, against defending Champions Tata Football Academy. The other teams in the group are Bangaluru FC and LoneStar Kashmir FC.

HFC have been training hard under Chief Coach Mohammad Ali, an AFC B license holder Coach (Ex Chief Coach-India U-19 Women’s Team-2008) along with AFC qualified coach Rajat Guha, for the last 2 months at the DDA Jasola Sports Complex and the Thyagraj Sports Complex in Delhi.

The team will be laid by Pawan Joshi, who was also a playing member of the Delhi State Senior team in the recently concluded group matches of National Championship at Jalandhar. The team consists of players from Sikkim, Manipur, Punjab, UP, and West Bengal, who have represented universities and State teams in their respective category.

The Club is duly supported by Mohsin Khan, a qualified Physiotherapist and other support staffs.

The HFC U-19 side is sponsored by Automobile giant Hero Motocorp Ltd., as well as known brands ‘Ghari’ detergent powder and sports goods manufacturer ‘Cosco’.
