AIZAWL: After days of silence in the McDowell’s Mizoram Premier League transfer window, Aizawl FC have roped in Japanese player Yuta Kinowaki who is a natural Central Defensive Midfielder and can be employed in centre back as well as both wing backs.

Aizawl FC, winner of the 2014-15 2nd Division League, is currently building the team for the 2015-16 Hero I-League which will kick-off at January 2016 to be one the best team in the Hero I-League and compete for the pole position in the league. The team from Mizoram, who is leading the Mc Dowell’s Mizoram Premier League table right now, is the first team in the history of the state to play in the Hero I-League and is on the hunt for a few more quality foreign players and home grown players to strengthen the team and compete with the best clubs in the country.

The new signing Yuta Kinowaki have played in Poland for Energetyk Grifino in the 2013-2014 season, moved to Latvia to play  for BFC Daugavplis in 2014-2015 season and played in all the matches of these clubs. Before moving to Aizawl, 24 years old Yuta played for his home town club Kyoto Shiko Club in the local Japanese league, one of the oldest football club in Japan for half a season.
