Salgaocar have got their one deducted point back after the AIFF Appeals Committee meeting (38+1 = 39).

Pune FC are also thus have the two points deducted (31-2 = 29).

Bengaluru also have a goal scored deducted in the process.

As per Art 18 (Page 27) of the I-League Regulations, The ranking shall be determined in the order given below:

i. Higher number of points in all the matches.

ii. If this is the same, then by the result of the matches between
the concerned teams, with the team securing the highest
points in these matches placed higher. (Head-2-Head)

iii. If even this is the same than the team having a higher goal
difference will be placed higher.

iv. If the goal difference is the same, the team with the higher
number of goals scored will be placed higher.

v. If still the winner cannot be decided, than the ranking will be
decided by taking lots.

vi. However in case of relegation of a team (when tied on points), the team to be relegated shall be decided by having
a play off between both the concerned teams at a neutral
venue. The team that loses this playoff match will be
relegated.

NB: If three or more teams are tied for the first or second place
after the league matches and these teams have beaten or lost to
each other (for example: team A, B and C are tied in points, team
A has beaten team B and lost to team C: team B has lost to team A
and beaten team C and team C has beaten team A and lost to team B) then Art. 18. ii will not be applicable and the classification will
be decided by following the system in Art. 18. iii, iv or v, as the
case may be.

f. A team which gives walk over without sufficient cause to the
satisfaction of the I-League Committee or fields an ineligible player,
shall forfeit the match and the opponent Team shall be declared
winner and awarded with 3 points in addition to award of three goal
difference.

NOTE: A MINI HEAD-TO-HEAD TABLE WILL BE NEEDED TO DETERMINE THE CHAMPION IF THE TOP 3 TEAMS ARE TIED AT THE SAME POINTS. IF THE POINTS ARE SAME, GOAL DIFFERENCE WILL BE SEEN.

IN THIS CASE, IF BFC, KEB, AND SAL ARE TIED ON 41 PTS, KEB WILL BECOME CHAMPIONS OWING TO A BETTER HEAD-TO-HEAD RECORD AMONG THE THREE.

THE TEAM TO BE RELEGATED WILL BE DECIDED BY HAVING A PLAYOFF BETWEEN OR AMONG THE TEAMS CONCERNED. THE TEAM WITH THE LEAST POINTS OR THE LOSER WILL BE RELEGATED.
